Let’s be civil.
The Flathead Beacon encourages vigorous discussion and lively debate, but we will delete comments that attack other readers, make accusations we can’t verify, stray too far off topic, criticize local businesses (call them if you have a problem), convict someone of a crime, use profanity or are simply judged to be in bad taste. We don’t always have someone moderating comments, so we ask for your help: If you see a comment that violates these ground rules, or you simply deem it offensive, please e-mail webmaster [at] flatheadbeacon.com.

Well said !  Having been in the management end of the food business, it always amazed me at the number and quality of individuals who called themselves ‘chef’ in their resumes based on scant experience in a commercial kitchen.  I’ll never forget the cook (and that title was a stretch ) hired by a kitchen manager desperate for help.  When cream was not available for a soup this character was concocting, he substituted with vanilla ice cream !  If you’ve never seen a cauldron of cream of broccoli soup boiling over in a fulminating mass creating a gooey mess, you’ve missed a show you don’t need to see.
