Wouldn’t it be nice if Montana stood apart from Idaho and Wyoming.  Wouldn’t it be nice if we
Montanans took a different approach to our natural environment and actually protected our
wildlife.  Wouldn’t it be nice if our state had a different reputation and people loved to come
here without fear of hunters and trappers.  Wouldn’t it be nice if our state became known
internationally as welcoming hikers, camera buffs, cyclists, etc. instead of the bloodthirsty state
it is.  Our wildlife “management” (bloodlust) is out of control.  It is time to come into the 21st
Century Montana!  Remember, over 5(FIVE) MILLION animals and birds were destroyed
nationally in 2010 (one year) and over 3(THREE) MILLION in 2011 (one year) BY USDA
WILDLIFE SERVICES alone(it’s on their site!) And ANOTHER 50,000 by trappers in this state
alone!!  WHY? MONEY!!!

Awww Sawyer…so sad that you think someone has to be on drugs to care about our wildlife
and that they want to change the view the world has of Montana…too bad you and others of
your ilk cannot just face the fact that your time has past.

CJ’s comments are typical of the “non-native Montanan”. Montana is a bloodthirsty State??? CJ,
why don’t you go back to wherever it is you came from and do your birdwatching from the balcony
of your 6th floor Condo!!!

Don’t ya love it when someone has nothing intelligent to say, but nonetheless they spew the
garbage.  CTO is a perfect example of that crowd with no functioning brain.  CJ is accused on
being “non-native Montanan”  I guess the rabid poster would be saying CJ is not native,
therefore not of Indian descent?  I don’t know what difference that would make anyway.  Don’t
know what you are CTO, and really don’t care as it’s not pertinent to the issue.  I don’t know
what “birdwatching from…...blah, blah, blah” is like, but sounds like you have some experience
there?  Or is your birdwatching done by what you can pull up on the computer?  Doubt you’re
Montanan CTO, most Montanan’s are kind and quite intelligent.

Wouldn’t it be nice if I went hiking with my camera attached to my scope so I could watch a wolf
get shot over and over while he was eating a baby moose alive?

Thank you Mitch, I just consider the intelligence of these kind of posters and feel very sorry for
them.  They have come from a very long line of uneducated backwoods humans that have not
been able to fit into todays world so they just pound their chests and spout venom.  Very sad.

So we need to shoot more wolves to make the packs more unstable to draw them closer to towns
where we can shoot them at will because of the danger to livestock and children, and the forest
service should have listened to Albert Einstein and quit repeating stupid things like the
reintroduction of wolves, seeing how we eradicated this useless animal once already.  Great article!

CJ…you kinda sound like you are somewhat smart?? How about spending your energy on
the populas in Haiti, most of Africa, India, Sri Lanka etc….places that are way over
populated with no end to their needs…and the biggest need is birth control to end the huge
drain on food/fuel/AIDS/no potties/diseases etc….the huge areas out of control with
regards to HUMAN OVER POPULATION….and they all want to come to the USA…and
have a better life…while we asorb way to many people with no skills & education all on the
DOLE…..for example go to Haiti and help the millions in that child stunted poverty ridden
cesspool of country keep their pants on…at least sometime.

We will handle the Wolf population, but keep us up on your travels in/to Haiti.

Dear hotfishmt:  While I agree with the content of your message, I believe I would have used a word
more common than ‘populas’ since I doubt most people know it.  I would have chosen the more
ubiquitous and recognized ‘populace’, a noun, which is not a substitute for ‘populous’, an adjective.
I do hope your education is going well.

I know how to solve this argument is with two contest  one being a knife fight and the other  a spelling bee, then
average the two and that will determine the winner.
