Good ol’ Josie is spot on. Scott Davis wore out his welcome long ago with his “anti-airport” rants
that go on ad nauseum. Most people no longer pay attention to anything Scott Davis says - he’s
actually doing Quiet Skies a big disservice by continuing to be their spokesperson.

Illogical One:

For once I agree with you. Scott Davis lost his credibility a long time ago and is nothing more
than background noise. If the referendum had been left up to Scott Davis, he’d still be stuck at
trying to craft the language. Thank goodness Chad Graham organized the Petition Drive or the
peoples’ voting rights would not have been restored.

I’ve only met Chad Graham a couple of times, but what I do know of him is he obviously has the
ability to organize, follow through, and get things done. Scott Davis should be so lucky.

There is only one loser here, Doody.
That is Scott Davis and Quiet Skies. Everything they wanted they gave up for a really meaningless
ego vote.
All you get to do is vote to stop 20 million dollars from being spent in and on Kalispell.
The FAA will give it to another airport if the voters tell them to shove it.

Everything else you say is drivel de los politicos.

Poor Illogical One.
Weren’t you moving to Bozeman? Whatever happened with that anyway?

It must really irk you the petition drive was successful. Afterall, wasn’t it you who said it would
never amount to anything? I think it was.

What do the taxpayers get? Their voting rights back, that’s what. The right to vote on property they
own and the chance to move on with an airport in its current footprint or a vote to expand it. That’s
what the taxpayers get. Perhaps the taxpayers realize that the airport will NEVER operate in the
black regardless of whether or not it moves on to expansion.

p.s. Say hello to Scott, Zac, and fake Republicans Jeff Zauner and Butch Clark…. Oh yes, and Gib
Bissel too (he never seems to pick a winning issue or a winning candidate).

Doody you are the one that has no logic.

The airport stays the way it is if you vote to repeal. There is nothing more to your petition than
stopping a publics works project.

So what have you gained to stop the benefit of the airport to handful of elitests? (Your major spew.)

The answer is NOTHING!

You keep the same old worn out airport,  with same old noisy planes you and Quiet Skies WERE
griping about.  Since the airport is there to stay for 30 more years….. what have you gained besides
calling one or two airport businesses and 100 local residents who have been using the airport for 83
years…. well spoiled and elite… and calling the council majority “scammers” and special interest
bleeding liberals?  Hahah…..  you are fighting a war of wits with witless cliches!

You get nothing in the end by voting to overturn the FAA gift.  MAYBE IF you can get the council to
eat 10 to 20 million closing Kalispell City Airport down, you can say you won something here, JD.
But that MAYBE is so minute, you are just trolling to see if you can torque off the rest of the citizens
who think airports belong to the community.

Majority, elite, or minority, they are willing to continue to provide their support and not be stupid by
turning down 20 million dollars in upgrades and the jobs that come with them to Kalispell.

Stopping being a troll.

Same song, second verse, Illogical One.

You say, “Vote to keep the FAA funding vote and you get traffic further way from town, less
noise, helicopter pads down by the Dog Pound and lots of other improvements.”

“Improvements” you say? For whose benefit? Not for the taxpayer, that’s for sure. The benefit is
for a handful of “elitists” who want the taxpayer to pay for their personal playground. No Thanks!

Vote FOR the repeal of the airport expansion.

Phlotch comments shows just how out of touch some people are thinking that reversing the council’s
vote on taking FAA fund will magically fix all their problems with the airport.

So go ahead, leave it the same!

The same old rich, spoiled, elite and silver winged pilots are still going to make you poor old airport
haters hate them the same!

You get the same helicopters flying the same routes you all have been sniveling about. The same
spray planes, all with the same drone.

Oh but listen to this:

The improved design moves the helicopter pads way south. It the airport is voted to stay the same…..
there ain’t no “way south” to move them to. Remember they have run out of property!

Everything stays the same that you all hate: traffic, taxes, noise, helicopters, airplanes, students
yada yada. So vote to leave it the same and thats what you get. S A M E -O !

Vote to keep the FAA funding vote and you get traffic further way from town, less noise, helicopter
pads down by the Dog Pound and lots of other improvements.

You would be NUTS not to vote to take the FAA funds

I for one, am very glad this phase of the airport mess is now behind us. Lets get on with a
proper campaign and get out the public vote on the airport issue. The sooner, the better. I am
tired of listening to the drone of helicopters circling over my home and being awoke before
sunrise by spray planes without a trimable prop beating the hell out of the air!

Now if the airport’s users would just move operations to a fiscally sound and safe operation
(Glacier), there is a chance the council would sell off the airport grounds for a tax paying
operation instead of the current sinkhole?

Zauner is a joke. He knew he had to pass himself off as a conservative when he ran for Council
when the truth is, he’s always been a liberal. This whole airport issue was a chance for Zauner
to finally show his true colors as the tax and spend liberal he truly is.

I hope he runs again. He’ll never make it a second term because the people now know who Jeff
Zauner really is and the lengths he’s willing to go to in order to advance his liberal, special
interests agenda.

Mr. Zauner hasn’t even tried to be discreet in his dealings with airport expansionists. He’s even put
his partnership with Kalispell’s elite on public display at a recent Chamber gathering where he was
seen slobbering all over Scott Richardson and Fred Leistiko, his new BFFs.

Jeff Zauner would do well to remember this: Those who lie down with dogs get up with fleas.

Mr. Zauner will not be re-elected should he decide to run again. He has betrayed his campaign
promises to be a “fiscal conservative” and has gone the way of the most radical, leftist entitlement
liberals the Council has ever known (Atkinson, Kenyon, and you may as well throw Gabriel in the
mix too).

Jeff Zauner may have fooled the people in Ward 2 once….but it won’t happen twice.

The only certainty here is… Anonymous people will bandy their opinions as truth. The election will
decide. Relax and vote.

The opposition never wanted this to go to the voters because they know if does, the vote will not go
their way. Mr. Graham and his volunteers did a great job of crafting the language, organizing and
getting the signatures needed in such a short period of time. I can’t be sure, but it could be the
most successful petition drive Kalispell has seen given the time frame and deadline.
Whether or not the vote is conducted sooner or later….the people will have the final say. This is as
it should be.

Who were the morons who collected 646 invalid signatures?  If they were canvassing door-to-door,
couldn’t they find a map to keeps themselves inside the city limits?  If they were doing card
table at a store efforts, couldn’t they competently inform people they needed to be registered
to vote AND city residents?

But congrats, you got the petition across the finish line…by the skin of your teeth.

Let the funding lies about the airport get turned up all the way to 11.

It’s gotta be painful to be Jeff Zauner right now.

Fake “fiscal conservative” Jeff Zauner, crawled into bed with the handful of elitist pilots who want
the Kalispell Taxpayer to fund their personal playground.

Me thinks this won’t bode well for him come next year’s city election. Do you hear those footsteps
behind you, Mr. Zauner? That would be your replacement.

Wait a minute! Was this the same referendum that was never going to amount to anything? The
same referendum that would never get off the gorund because the voters were too stupid to craft the
language? The same referendum that was called “Road Kill” because the voters were incapable of
getting organized? The same referendum that the voters would never sign because they were
called “too stupid” to vote?

Well looky here! Look what made it to next year’s ballot!

The opposition should be reaching for a knife and fork right about now…I hear their helping of crow
is ready.
