Fantasy Flights' First Ride of the Season

Turbulent weather this spring kept Paul Fifield, owner and operator of Kalispell-based Fantasy Flights, grounded a bit later into the season than expected. On a cool morning, just as the sun was rising, the Fantasy Flight hot air balloon calmly towered over the field behind the National Guard Armory. With one click of a switch and a whoosh of flaming gas, the balloon silently ascended into the blue.
