Around the Rotunda during the 2011 Legislative Session in Helena

The massive rotunda with stained glass ceilings, crescent windows, grand staircase and gold painted dome never ceases to strike me with its beauty and brilliance. Visitors, legislators, lobbyists and the like seem to flow through the open spaces of the Montana State Capitol building in Helena with ease, familiarity and always an air of purpose. Here are a few images in my personal exploration of the Capitol's grandness and sense of motion.
