Bigfork Whitewater Festival

Hundreds of competitors braved the whitewater rapids – coined the "Wild Mile" – of the Swan River during the 35th annual Bigfork Whitewater Festival. At the height of spring runoff, the "wild mile" is considered Class V whitewater. The two-day event included slalom races, a triathlon race, down river race and a boaters cross.
