Don’t be fooled by Lyndsey Hoffenbacker’s age or size. When it’s time for a big play, the 15-year-old sophomore on Glacier High School’s softball team knows how to deliver.
An example of that is her catch against Flathead High School during the second game of a Friday doubleheader.

Kalispell Golfer Iverson Commits to University of Washington
MISSOULA – Kalispell Glacier junior Larry Iverson III has committed to playing college golf at the University of Washington.
Iverson is the defending Class AA champion, having shot a 67-73 at last fall's tournament to win by eight strokes. He is favored to repeat as state champion this fall.

High Hopes for Glacier Tennis
Head coach Josh Munro isn’t the only one excited about Glacier High School’s inaugural tennis season. The 55 students who showed up for the first day of practice apparently are ready to go too.
Munro, coach for boys and girls tennis at Glacier, said even though many of his players are freshmen, they aren’t necessarily inexperienced. Some of them, like Liana Bates and Cami Mathison, already are seasoned veterans in the United States Tennis Association (USTA) circuit.

There’s a lot of talent in this county – if such a county vs. county tournament were to ever be played, we like our chances.

Two decades after they finished high school in Snohomish, Wash., the Harkins, both coaches and teachers at Glacier High School, are preparing for their 16th wedding anniversary.
