Lido Vizzutti/Flathead Beacon California resident and fly tyer John Gantner ties a "Hopper John" during the 2008 Federation of Fly Fishers Conclave at Whitefish High School. The fly is a newer pattern Gantner created to emulate a grasshopper. The conclave featured masters of casting, fly tying and rod building over the five day conference.
