The Vikings improved to 3-0 last week after beating Conrad 42-0. Quarterback Trent Colter threw three TDs and rushed for two more. Boyd Rieke rushed for 149 yards, Austin Jordt caught two passes for 54 yards and two TDs and Chris Landon had 87 yards receiving and a TD. Shane Larson had two interceptions on defense for Bigfork. Bigfork's game against Plains scheduled for Friday has been canceled. Plains forfeited due to a lack of available players. Polson (3-0) is ranked fourth in Class A after beating Anaconda 22-7 last week. Glacier landed just out of the top five in Class AA rankings despite a big win last weekend. After losing two straight games by less than a touchdown Glacier beat Western AA foe Missoula Hellgate 64-6. The game was rescheduled for Saturday in Polson after being canceled Friday because of heavy smoke from wildfires in Missoula. The Wolfpack piled up 226 rushing yards. Quarterback Taylor Hulslander threw for 177 yards and four touchdowns. Kyle Griffith had five catches for 102 yards and two TDs. Evan Epperly scored on a 63-yard run, Kellyn Farone rushed seven times for 30 yards, Noah James had 29 yards and a TD and Aaron Mitchell rushed for 26 yards and a TD. The Wolfpack defense held Hellgate to 199 total yards. Glacier (2-2) hosts top-ranked Bozeman (4-0) this Friday for homecoming at 7 p.m. at Legends Stadium. Fourth-ranked Helena rattled off five unanswered touchdowns to defeat Flathead 42-14 last Friday. The Braves jumped ahead 14-7 in the first half after Kevin Grosswiler scored a 27-yard TD and Austin Root rushed for a one-yard score. The Bengals amassed 437 yards and forced three turnovers. Flathead (0-4) travels to Missoula Sentinel (1-3) on Sept. 21. Ty Morgan scored three touchdowns and Columbia Falls picked up its second win of the season, beating Browning 43-2 last Friday. Zach Darling score twice for the Wildcats and Colin King caught a 15-yard TD pass from Jared Trinastich. Last week’s Beacon had the Wildcats’ record incorrect. Columbia Falls defeated Corvallis 27-20 in the season opener. Columbia Falls (2-1) plays at Polson Sept. 21. Hardin (2-1) cruised to a 40-13 victory over the Bulldogs (2-2). Whitefish quarterback Luke May connected with Shane Marcial on a 20-yard score in the second quarter. Walter Holliday had a 25-yard TD reception, too. The Bulldogs host Libby Sept. 21. Stevensville (2-1) blanked fifth-ranked Libby 33-0. Loggers quarterback Jared Winslow was limited to 33 yards passing on 20 attempts. Lane Luscher had two interceptions for Libby (3-1). The Loggers travel to Whitefish Sept. 21.
