In the first episode of the seven-part HBO series “John Adams,” the young attorney defends a group of British soldiers against murder charges following the shooting death of budding revolutionists. An unpopular position at the time, it began a rather unpopular, albeit landmark, career, which preceded a near-forgotten legacy. In fact, for the Founding Father, first vice-president of the United States and second president, Adams has enjoyed little love. Until recently.Excellent article. Thank you. Everyone should watch this show and rent it when it arrives in the stores. Also, pay attention to Thomas Jefferson and his debates with Hamilton over the central bank. These debates and ideas are relevant today. Think “The Fed”. If these men were alive today and saw our corrupted ex-republic, they would vomit blood in disgust of our mishandling of freedom. They put it all on the line to give us this nation and the rights it held. In just a few presidents hands and with the help of apathetic populace we lost it all. Visit http://www.puppetgov.com
