9:04 a.m. A resident on North Evers Creek Road called in to complain that a man was burning a slash pile and smoke was coming into his home. He was advised that nothing illegal had occurred.
9:40 a.m. A Somers resident reported that a family member borrowed something and then pawned it.
9:50 a.m. Multiple reports were made about meth pipe-wielding transients who are apparently camping in a Winnebago near the canyon area.
10:21 a.m. Someone felt bad for a yellow Lab who was wandering down Columbia Avenue in Whitefish with a big white cone around its head. The caller was worried about its lack of peripheral vision.
10:23 a.m. Tires were slashed on four vehicles parked on Highway 2 in Columbia Falls.
10:55 a.m. A frantic mom reported that her toddler locked herself in the bathroom. The door was opened and the little girl was safely removed.
11:45 a.m. A woman on North Fork Road reported that a wolf-type dog dragging a chain ran off with two of her chickens.
12:37 p.m. A man reported that a pack of men in a truck used “pit maneuvers” to try to run him off the road. The men followed him to a gas station where one of them reportedly brandished a weapon and another pretended to shoot him with his finger gun.
12:40 p.m. A Kalispell man claimed that someone broke into his storage unit and stole his grinder.
1:59 p.m. A resident of Rockwood Road complained that the neighbor’s dog comes into his yard to do “his business.”
3:44 p.m. A man on Somerset Drive reported that his hunting clothes were stolen out of his camper sometime last week.
3:58 p.m. A man in Evergreen claimed that some kids in baggy pants were “eyeballing” his rims.
2:02 a.m. A Kalispell man accused his ex-girlfriend of rummaging around in his vehicle.
