Final Statistics for Northwestern A Basketball

The regular season is over for Northwestern A basketball and the final statistics have been filed. Whitefish’s Colt Idol, a senior, wrapped up his second consecutive scoring title with an average of 20.3 points per game. He averaged 22.1 last year and 17.5 the year before, when he came in second.

The top scorer for girls is also from Whitefish. Senior Kate Klundt edged out Libby’s Jackie Mee, ending the season with an average of 19.4 points. Last year, she averaged 12.1. Klundt is also the conference’s top rebounder at 11 per game. Mee came up just short of her second straight scoring title. She averaged 19.2 points this year and last year she was the top scorer at 18.6.

A quick reminder, the Northwestern A divisional tournament is this week at Glacier High School. It begins on Thursday and runs through Saturday. The games are scheduled every two hours beginning at 2 p.m. everyday, with the last game at 8 p.m.
