Glacier Boys Finish Second at Class AA Golf

For the second straight year, Glacier's boys golf team came in second to Billings West at the Class AA state golf tournament. But this time, West won in convincing fashion. A year after narrowly defeating Glacier by three strokes, the Bears cruised to a 45-stroke victory. The top four golfers at the tournament were all from West. Glacier's Justin Newton finished fifth. Flathead came in 12th.

It was Billings West's fourth straight state championship – in 2007 the Bears tied for first with Glacier. And it was one of the more dominating performances we're likely to see for a long time in Montana high school golf. On the girls side, Bozeman took the title. Glacier came in fourth, the best finish in school history. Flathead came in 12th.
