On the Beacon this morning,
three snowmobilers died from avalanches in separate accidents across Montana over the weekend. Pretrial arguments will be held this week in the federal criminal trial over Libby asbestos contamination
against W.R. Grace & Co. And Flathead High students learned how to make
Native American-themed art with modern materials through an innovative program with the Hockaday Museum. And
Kitchen Guy Chef Jim Gray reports on the gastronomic scene on the Dutch side of Saint Marten's island in the Caribbean.
Some
daycare center owners around the state fear they could be forced to shut down if the Legislature implements a funding freeze, as has been suggested by Gov. Brian Schweitzer. The
first homicide in more than a decade in Glasgow has rocked the northeast corner of the state. And while
Walleyes Unlimited have introduced a bill in the Legislature to declare their namesake fish a native species in Montana, Trout Unlimited argues that the Walleye was introduced here.
