POLSON – Lake County officials have arrested a 33-year-old St. Ignatius woman on suspicion of attempted murder after a man was stabbed several times.
Undersheriff Jay Doyle says Sunny Rae Pierce was arrested at about 5 p.m. Thursday near St. Ignatius. Doyle says 52-year-old Francis McDonald Jr. was stabbed several times. He was listed in stable but guarded condition at Kalispell Regional Medical Center.
Doyle says the motive for the stabbing is not known, but the two had argued.
The stabbing is still under investigation.
