9:51 a.m. According to an irritated Bear Trail resident, the neighbor’s dog barks excessively.

10:12 a.m. A suspicious Fox Hill Drive man reported that the neighbor kids were out at 2 a.m. wandering around the neighborhood with a flashlight. He is unaware of the damage they may or may not have done.

10:39 a.m. An Evergreen man was upset about the numerous piles of dog feces he encountered on his walk to the local casino.

12:58 p.m. A Kalispell woman reported that her niece borrowed her truck and took it to Washington some time ago and she would like it back. Although the niece is not refusing to give the vehicle back, she does not want to drive it all the way over from Washington.

1:16 p.m. A man called in searching for his missing bird.

1:37 p.m. A wood stove was reported stolen from a foreclosed home on Kokanee Bend in Columbia Falls.

3:08 p.m. A complaint was made about a Somers resident who has been building a large pile of garbage in his yard

3:13 p.m. An employee of a local business reported that a self-proclaimed car thief came in and showed him her stolen hatchback and then asked for five dollars. Her request was denied and she drove off in the car.

3:31 p.m. A dog on Springwood Drive escaped its electric fence and charged the neighbor.

4:22 p.m. A Trails End Drive resident reported that someone let their dog out and then reported it as loose. Apparently, this is an ongoing problem.

6:14 p.m. A four-year-old and his dog wandered away from their home home on Sleepy Hollow Drive. He and his companion were found and reunited with his grandmother.

7:06 p.m. A woman on Highway 93 South reported that an intoxicated drug dealer was shooting a shotgun at her house. No damage occurred.

8:15 p.m. A woman on Lenwood Lane reported that a strange man was rummaging around under her neighbor’s porch. The neighbor told a deputy that he knew the man and the rummaging was permitted.

9:16 p.m. A Hungry Horse woman reported that her ex-girlfriend was holding her down by placing her knee on her neck. When deputies arrived at the home others present denied that anything had occurred and that the girlfriend had left before the woman even called.
